1. COLLECT YOUR DATA
If you want to improve the result of your grantmaking in the future, you have to understand the result of the past. The first step to making an understanding with your past result is to look through the data that you have been collecting and analyse the results. Understand why the result was what it was and what can be done to improve it.
2. PEER REVIEW
Having an external person outside of your organisation may help you see what you don’t see. Different person will point out different focus points and the point that your peer is pointing out may bring something important to your attention, this can help you analyse the result more carefully. If your peer is an expert in the area, it will benefit you even more as they will apply their knowledge to the process when helping you review the application.
3. DOCUMENT MANAGEMENT
Having your document stored in one place and linking it to the application that’s relevant to it will save you a lot of time. Imagine if you no longer have to lose any documents, looking for the right application linking to it, and spending a lot of time organising it. Once you no longer have to spend a lot of time in this area, you can use the time to focus on something that need more attention in order for your organisation to grow.
