« The world’s leading hotel operator, AccorHotels has built its history on a deep dedication to forging ties. As a leader, we have always cared about upholding a high level of commitment to our employees, our guests, our partners and our host communities in more than 90 countries. ». Sébastien Bazin, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer
Solidarity AccorHotels, the Group’s endowment Fund, is one of the cornerstones of this commitment. Since 2008, the Fund has supported solidarity initiatives initially sponsored by the AccorHotels employees. They get involved in the field to help fight against the economic and social exclusion of extremely disadvantaged people through professional insertion.
All of the projects are led by non-governmental organizations (NGOs) or by local not-for-profit associations for the benefit of our hotels’ host communities. The values of hospitality, caring and generosity that our hotel employees embody every day in their jobs flow naturally through to community outreach initiatives. The diversity of hotel industry jobs means that everyone’s skills can be used in putting together a project.
Today, over 20,000 of them, all over the world, donate their time, impart their skills, share special moments with the beneficiaries, and work for the greater good.
