With 13 000 foundations who have a capital of over 70 billion Swiss francs, it is safe to say that Switzerland knows a thing or two about philanthropy. This is why we are excited to announce that we will once again be attending the Swiss Foundation Symposium!
With all the insights we gained from last year’s edition, we could not wait to go back to the Swiss Foundation Symposium. At the heart of this year’s event will be the theme of, ‘the added value that foundations can bring to society’. With keynote speakers from the Swiss and European philanthropy sector as well as experts from the cultural, scientific and law fields, we are looking forward to the learning opportunities which this event will bring us.

The theme of added value will be looked at from various angles throughout the day, going from the point of views of the beneficiary, the state and finally that of the foundations themselves.
Keynote speakers include Monique Bär, president of the Arcas foundation, Luc Tayart de Borms delegated administrator of the King Baudouin Foundation, Bruno Jochum general director of Doctors without borders Switzerland and finally Peggy Grüninger who is director of Corporate Donations and Philanthropy at the Roche group. In addition to these speakers, there will be roundtables and workshops with other industry experts.
