Nebraska Board of Regents will consider 11-year deal with Adidas

With the deal worth nearly four times more per year than their current contract, Regents will consider a new sponsorship agreement between Husker athletics and Adidas that would cover 11 years and more than $128 million.

The deal would include $64 million in cash and nearly $64.7 million in athletic apparel and equipment products.

This deal would continue to make Nebraska one of Adidas’s top schools.

Chipotle enters esports with OpTic Gaming sponsorship

Most popular esports organisations has teamed up with one of the biggest fast-casual food chains in the world.

A popular American chain, Chipotle Mexican Grill has become the newest sponsor of Optic Gaming. This is Chipotle’s first ever sponsorship in sports.

Chipotle’s logo will be on OpTic’s jerseys for the 2017 Call of Duty World League Championship.

Future of #77 team will depend on sponsorship

Barney Visser, owner of Furniture Row Racing said that the team is searching for sponsorship to continue running the #77 car next season. Without a sponsorship, the team may have to give up on that car.

The team added the #77 this year for rookie Erik Jones, who signed a one-year contract. Jones will go to Joe Gibbs racing next season, replacing Matt Kenseth. That leaves an opening with the #77 car.
